NETWORK COVERAGE
Base Wireless Network Coverage in 2009 We are serving Whistler, Squamish and Pemberton with 100 locations. Your account is valid on any basewireless network. Wireless Internet access is now available in the Creekside area and Whistler Village, Alpine, Emerald and Function Junction with great rates for local Whistler residents and businesses. We are also building a wireless mesh network for the District of Squamish. Your account will now be valid in Whistler, Squamish and Pemberton.
100Mbs fibre Backbone
The basewireless network is connected to the Internet over a 100Mbs fibre backbone from Bell and supports live streaming broadcast quality video. The network is also served by 40 other wired gateways from different providers with a combined capacity of about 300Mbs.
We also offer WIMAX over licensed spectrum for secure service and reliability in a noisy environment.
